How are culture and housing connected? And what about health, migration, decentralisation, feminism, or community action? This activity brings together a selection of projects from different territories and practices that use culture as a tool for social transformation and as a space to defend other fundamental rights. These initiatives give life to the principles and articles outlined in the Barcelona Declaration on Cultural Rights, exemplifying how these rights are realised in practice. The format will follow a PechaKucha style, a fast-paced presentation method combining 20 images with 20 seconds per slide. Each project will have just over 10 minutes to present, creating a cabaret of transformative initiatives.
