The roundtable “Creation in Catalan on the Internet” brings together leading voices in the digital field to reflect on the role of the Catalan language on social networks and content platforms. From audiovisual satire to journalism and cultural activism, participants will share how they create, connect with audiences, and challenge algorithms often unfavourable to minority languages. Drawing on diverse experiences, the session will provide an overview of Catalan as a language that, despite challenges, manages to make its way in the digital space, generating community, presence, and new forms of shared culture.
