This roundtable will focus on the challenges and opportunities posed by linguistic diversity in education. It will explore how languages coexist in classrooms within socially diverse contexts, and how this plurality can become a pedagogical resource. The contributions will address issues such as inclusion, linguistic justice, and educational practices that recognise and value pupils’ languages. With input from experts in education and sociolinguistics, the discussion will provide tools for rethinking schools as spaces for coexistence and transformation.
