In this workshop, the collective Estampa will propose a series of activities that engage us with different aspects of Artificial Intelligence technologies. What do we mean when we talk about computer vision, and how does it relate to human vision and contemporary visual culture? How is text generation created, and how dependent is it on datasets? Beyond its applications, what is the infrastructural significance of artificial intelligence? Drawing on some of the collective’s projects, we will explore these technologies with the aim of fostering reflection and debate.
