The opening session of the Àgora Cívica will serve to present the objectives and themes to be addressed, highlighting the importance of public debate on the role of culture and cultural policies in the contemporary world, as well as links to the UNESCO MONDIACULT conference agenda. It will feature the participation of institutional representatives from Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Provincial Council, the Government of Catalonia, and the Ministry of Culture, as the institutions promoting Àgora Cívica.

Plenary meetings and regional chapter meetings of IFACCA

As part of Mondiacult 2025 and Àgora in a network, the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) will hold several meetings in Barcelona, including plenary sessions and meetings of its various regional chapters.
