This session brings together the legislative work that several Autonomous Communities have carried out in recent years in the field of cultural rights. The aim is to share the processes of these different experiences and the results and lessons that have emerged from them, such as the Canary Islands’ Public Culture System Act or Navarre’s Regional Act on Cultural Rights; and, on the other hand, to showcase the ongoing work that various Autonomous Communities are currently developing in this area, such as Catalonia, with the processing of the draft Cultural Rights Act, or the Basque Country, with the forthcoming Act regulating the Cultural System of Euskadi.
