This roundtable aims to explore some of the urgent debates arising from the introduction of artificial intelligence into the cultural ecosystem. At its core is the impact on creative processes: between collaboration and extraction, AI challenges established notions of authorship, alters production conditions, and raises new conflicts around usage rights. The session will also discuss how these technologies reconfigure symbolic circulation and reinforce asymmetries in a platform-dominated ecosystem, questioning not only creation but also the traceability and ways in which archives, memories, and therefore cultural heritage are constructed, defined, and accessed.
