“This session aims to explore how young people use language —in all its forms and variants— as a creative tool, a means of expressing identity, and a vehicle for social transformation through the arts, highlighting the linguistic richness that young people bring to artistic environments (freestyle, rap, slam, spoken poetry, social media, etc.). We will share practices and experiences of projects working with young people and language in different contexts (school, street, cultural centres…)”.
