What is our role as active agents in building peace? Beyond merely recalling historical events from countercultural positions, and recovering silences and absences, it is necessary for communities to participate actively in developing a just and sustainable peace, one that provides guarantees against the repetition of conflict, reflects on mechanisms of violence, creates spaces for peace, and fosters reparative processes through community reconstruction. This also involves adopting decolonial perspectives that challenge traditional narratives and promote a more inclusive and pluralistic vision. What memories are we leaving behind? Who decides that it is necessary to go further?
