Local cultures are redefined between the physical world and immersive digital spaces. This roundtable will examine how new platforms and technologies impact the production and circulation of local culture. What risks of homogenisation or disconnection do they present? What opportunities do they offer for revitalising communities and imagining hybrid spaces for social interaction?
