Jondo vegetal is a performative talk exploring the effects of climate change on trees through flamenco. The project is part of Embolismo por soleá, by artist and environmental scientist Paula Bruna, which interprets the sound of plant embolism —an ultrasound emitted by plants under drought stress— as a “cante jondo” of the trees: a plaintive cry that emerges from the depths of the plants in the form of rhythm without a defined beat. On this occasion, Paula collaborates with dancer and philosopher Fernando López Rodríguez to share the latest findings of this research.
