Presentation and dialogue on the recent report by the Ministry of Culture regarding its position on the debates and negotiations surrounding the inclusion of a Culture Goal in the post-2030 agenda, in the final stages of the 2030 Agenda.
The report addresses the path travelled –from the 1960s to the present– in establishing culture as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development, as well as the political opportunity that recognition of the central role of culture represents for Spain in future global agendas.
It also details the various elements that should be included in this Culture Goal, alongside their justification based on international, European, and national regulations, and provides a comprehensive analysis of this position and potential implementation strategies.
